Tour de España 2011: part two!

The second part if my Tour is more than just heading for home. I’m using the same idea as before – travel laden from zone A to B, stay a few nights at a base camp and doing round trips in each region –  to explore Spain major northern ranges: the Cordillera de Cantabria, which includes the famous Picos de Europa, and the Sistema Iberica, which runs roughly southwards from Cantabria’s eastern extreme (see Geography). I also wanted to visit the Rias Altas in Galicia. These are sea lochs that run inland from the wild northern coast – La Costa de la Muerte, meaning Coast of Death!
